Santorini

Quite possibly my new favourite place on earth. I absolutely loved it! The colours were amazing, the architecture was breathtaking and so exotic. I just couldn't believe that you could witness colours that bright and brilliant. Our hotel was ridiculous... we had our own little cave-like apartment with a pool that overlooked the ocean, plus they proceeded to fill our tummies every morning with a 4 course breakfast!
I'm counting down until the next time I can go!

I only found out later when I came back into the world of technology that Tuula had been there at the same time! If only...

Mint and Silver

Sigh. These are the shoes I recently purchased in Athens! I'm practically obsessed with Zara. Here in Singapore, I make sure I'm constantly updated with the Zara Singapore website, so I know exactly what I want to look at and how much money I need to have before I step into the store... because I'm that much of a worry when I'm in there!
Anyway, I loved them as soon as I tried them on (which, mind you was in the middle of a sale, so there were many people running around me), so naturally I bought them, along with a pale pink silk and wool shirt.
These are my 17th pair of high heels...

Adventures in Ladakh

In June, I spent 3 weeks in the Northern Indian province of Ladakh. It was absolutely amazing! Along with about 10 friends, we helped out at the local Lamdon School and experienced the life of the locals, but the main part of the trip was trekking and camping in the Himalayas. The highest point we reached was about 5200m! I honestly had the best time, and it's kind of opened up a whole new adventurous me - one who is excited to backpack (like a real backpacker, none of this 3/4 star bullshit) and travel to more remote places.
As much as I'm a bit obsessed with my wardrobe and everything, I didn't really have that opportunity here, which was a breath of fresh air. I just chucked on the warmest things. The only type of accessorising I had was my 3 beanies, a fluffy North Face one, a colourful Billabong one and a handmade pig beanie... all of which cracked up most of my friends who had pretty boring straight-edged hats.
Oh, almost forgot about my freebie Madonna for Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses... I guess I may have spoken too soon...
